Office cleaning in Tbilisi that fits around the working day

DAVITIANI provides office cleaning in Tbilisi for small and mid-sized offices, co-working spaces and international teams, scheduled before or after working hours or on a quiet day. The price depends on the floor area, the number of restrooms and kitchens, how often you need us and any special tasks. Send the office manager's requirements and a few photos, and we will arrange the rest in English.

  • Before opening, after closing or on weekends
  • Clear rules on desks, documents and screens
  • One contact person on each side
  • Coordination with the business centre
Timing

Before or after working hours

Most offices want the cleaning to be invisible: the space is ready when people arrive, and nobody vacuums around a client call.

The usual choice is between an early slot before staff arrive and an evening slot after the office empties. Early cleaning means the kitchen and restrooms are fresh at the start of the day. Evening cleaning is better for offices where people eat at their desks, because crumbs and cups are dealt with before they sit overnight. Some small teams prefer a weekly session on Saturday, when nobody is in.

Our working hours are Monday to Saturday 09:00-23:00 and Sunday 08:00-22:00, and the exact time slot for your office is agreed when booking. If your business centre only lets contractors in at certain hours, that rule decides the slot, so check it before we plan.

If the office stays partly occupied, for example a developer who works late, tell us. The team can start in the empty rooms and leave occupied desks for last.

What we clean

Desks, kitchens, meeting rooms, restrooms and floors

Clear desk surfaces are wiped, chairs are dusted, and bins are emptied. By default, the team does not move papers, open drawers or touch monitors, laptops and keyboards. If you want screens or keyboards wiped, say so, and agree which products are allowed on them.

Counters, sink, the outside of the fridge and microwave, the coffee machine surface and tables. Loading the dishwasher, clearing old food from the fridge and descaling the kettle can be added to the list.

Tables wiped, chairs straightened, whiteboards cleaned only if they have been erased or marked as free to wipe, glass walls cleared of fingerprints, and screens left untouched unless agreed.

Toilets, basins, mirrors, floors and dispensers cleaned. Refilling soap, paper and towels works best when the office keeps a stock cupboard the team can access.

Carpet tiles vacuumed, hard floors mopped, the reception area and entrance cleaned, and glass doors wiped. Corridors and stairwells shared with other tenants are usually the building's responsibility, not yours.

Boundaries

Rules that protect documents and equipment

The simplest rule: anything on a desk that is not rubbish stays where it is. What counts as rubbish, and what may be wiped, is written down before the first visit.

  • Papers, notebooks and folders are not moved, read or thrown away, even if they look forgotten.
  • Cables, docking stations and chargers are left in place, and nothing is unplugged.
  • Server rooms, archives and the director's office are cleaned only if you say so, and can be locked instead.
  • Only items placed in bins, or clearly marked, go out as waste.
  • Anything confidential should be locked away at the end of the day, which is good practice regardless of cleaning.

Written rules help most in offices with a clean-desk policy, legal or financial files, or client equipment on loan. When the rules are clear, the team works faster, and there are no awkward mornings where someone cannot find a sticky note with a password on it.

Schedules

Choosing a schedule for your office

Typical schedules and who they suit
ScheduleSuitsTypical focus
Several times a weekBusy offices with a shared kitchen and many visitorsRestrooms, kitchen, bins, entrance
Once or twice a weekSmall teams of a few people, studios, agenciesFull rotation of desks, kitchen, floors
Weekly plus a monthly extraOffices that want windows or fridges done on a cycleStandard list plus one larger task
One-offAfter an event, before a client visit, after a moveWhatever the occasion needs

An office that is moving can combine services: our office moving team handles the furniture and boxes, and a one-off clean of the new space can be scheduled after they finish. If the new premises were recently fitted out, the job is closer to after-renovation cleaning, since construction dust settles inside desks and on every ledge.

Access

Business-centre access and one contact person

Most delays in office cleaning have nothing to do with cleaning. They happen at the reception desk.

  1. 1

    Register the team

Many business centres in Vake, Saburtalo and along the main avenues require contractors to be listed in advance, sometimes with ID details. Ask building management what they need.

  2. 2

    Sort out keys and alarms

Decide who opens the office, whether an access card is issued, and how the alarm is set and unset. Write the procedure down.

  3. 3

Check the service lift and waste point

Some buildings require the service lift for equipment and have a set place and time for rubbish. Knowing this avoids arguments with security.

  4. 4

    Name one contact person

Pick one person, usually the office manager, who approves changes and receives questions. We keep one contact on our side as well, and coordination with us can be in English.

Having a single contact on each side matters more than it sounds. When five colleagues each ask for something different by message, the list becomes unclear and something is missed. One person collecting requests and passing them on keeps everyone aligned.

The brief

What the office manager should specify

A one-page brief written once saves weeks of small misunderstandings. These are the points it should cover.

  • Layout: floor area, the number of open-plan desks, private offices, meeting rooms, kitchens and restrooms.
  • Floor types: carpet tiles, laminate, stone or polished concrete, since each needs a different method.
  • Priorities: what must be perfect every time, for example the reception and the client meeting room.
  • Off-limits zones: rooms that are locked, desks that must never be touched, and equipment that stays as it is.
  • Consumables: where soap, paper and bin liners are stored, and who reorders them when they run low.
  • Waste: whether the office separates recycling, and where the building wants bags left.
  • Periodic tasks: windows, the fridge, upholstery or a deep cleaning of the kitchen and restrooms once a quarter.

Old furniture, broken chairs and boxes left after a reorganization are not part of routine cleaning. If you need them taken away, our waste removal service (page in Georgian) handles that. Dusty split units in meeting rooms are also a separate job, covered on the AC cleaning page, and worth scheduling before the summer heat arrives. For a home rather than a workplace, start from the cleaning services overview.

Small and international teams

Co-working spaces and small international offices

Tbilisi has a growing number of co-working spaces and small offices run by foreign companies, often with a team that changes month to month. These spaces have their own needs: hot desks that should be wiped every day, phone booths, a busy shared kitchen, and members who come and go at irregular hours.

Hot desks

Free desks wiped and chairs reset, while desks with belongings on them are skipped according to your rules.

Phone booths and lounges

Small enclosed spaces get stuffy quickly. Surfaces, handles and seat fabric are covered on each visit.

Members at odd hours

If some members stay late, agree which zones are cleaned when, so nobody is interrupted mid-call.

For an international team, the practical advantage is that the brief, schedule changes and feedback can all go through us in English by email, phone or WhatsApp. Payment terms and any paperwork your accounts team needs should be raised when booking, so they are clear from the first month.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you clean our office every evening?

That depends on the time window and your building's rules. Tell us the days and hours you need, and we will confirm what is possible when booking.

Will the cleaners touch our computers?

Not unless you ask. By default, screens, keyboards and cables are left alone. If you want them wiped, agree the products and the method first.

Who provides cleaning products and toilet paper?

Cleaning products and equipment are agreed when booking. Consumables like soap and paper are usually bought by the office, and the team refills them from your stock.

Do you clean shared corridors in the business centre?

Shared areas are normally handled by building management. We clean inside your office unless something else is arranged.

Can we try one visit before agreeing to a schedule?

Yes. A single visit is a good way to check the brief, the timing and building access before setting up a repeat plan.

How do we give feedback?

Through the office contact person, by message or email. Photos of anything missed make it easier to fix quickly.

Do you clean offices outside the city centre?

We work across Tbilisi and the surrounding area. Mention the address when you ask for a quote.
